Belt Promotions happen twice per year at Team Taino Martial Arts & Fitness. This is a time when you get to show off your hard work in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu! In a Belt Promotion Ceramony, although everyone comes together, the kids usually receive their strips and belts first followed by the adults. And feel free to stick around after! Usually, many of the members, especially the parents, will bring home-cooked meals for a potluck with all the members. (Note that not all belt promotions are supported by a professional photographer.)
